color vs. black and grey

by

I myself love color tattoos. My finacee, on the other hand, has mostly black and grey work. I think the color of your work depends on what your styles you prefer like. Different styles offer different shading. Chinese, Japanese, traditional and neo-traditional offer more colors. Styles of tattoos that offer black and grey shading are portraits, tribal, and prison/gangster art.

The type of shading you chose depends on your tastes, tattoo styles ,and in some cases, affiliations and plain circumstance. For example prison inmates only have access to black ink.

In the long run it really is up to you whether or not you get colored or black and grey shading.
