About JJ Young
I have been breathing for almost 41 years now and happen to be enjoying the air here in Germany at the moment. I live here working for the US Government and I am totally diggin’ it. I was in the U.S. Navy for 10 years and I have been a musician for 26 playing bass, drums and singing. So, it was inevitable that I ended up with a tattoo. ( What decent sailor doesn’t? ) Well that first one did it. Even though I said that I’d only get one, I was completely hooked once the gun jabbed me the first time. A couple thousand dollars and several yards of Saran Wrap later, I am sitting fairly well as far as ink goes. Of course I’m not finished yet! When I am, I’ll have one tattoo….that covers my body!
I have traveled the world and have met some fantastic artists and wild tat recipients and I have been intrigued by the entire industry since my initiation into this crazy world of skin art. I intend to share my experiences here with you and take you all on a journey that encompasses all things tattoo.
So grab your Vaseline, ( not for that silly! ) and join me as we venture to explore this colorful world of tattoo!
